Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I/ We made an offer on a house in Park Glenn Communities in December of 2001 (moved in January 2002), we made a list of repairs and upgrades that needed to be taken care of. There was a leak that we noticed right off the bat. You could see it from the outside of the house. It turned out that when they tested the plumbing in the kitchen, with a test ball, they left the ball in the pipes. I was told that they would fix this by removing the back panel of the cabinets and make the necessary repairs. They decided to cut out bricks on the side of my house and fix it instead. Needless to say it looks like they cut out bricks!

We had many things on our list that needed to be repaired from windows that said %$^&* (dirty words) to plumbing caps missing in sealed up walls. They replaced the windows AFTER we moved in. Plugs that didn't work, fixed after we moved in. I have a two story home on Crouse Drive, it has two sliders one right above the other. One of them was bowed and missing a plastic strip on the outside, I called Fuller homes about this from day one, it just got fixed 2 weeks ago (over three months later). Before it was fixed it leaked quite a bit. My downstairs slider also leaked. Well after they fixed the upstairs one right before we got the hard rains. Much to my surprise I walked into my family room and I had water pouring out of the wall above my slider. I still have yet to get that fixed! I have however heard we will get someone right on that. They sent someone over last Tuesday, he said he would be back Thursday or Friday to make the necessary repairs. Of course he was a no show. Here is an even better one, the washer plumbing runs from my upstairs threw the walls and into an entry wall of my house, they forgot to cap the line downstairs. Needless to say, while I was unpacking and doing laundry (white clothes of course,) my living room and family room filled with bleachy, soapy water. I did get this taken care of buy finally calling and filing a complaint with the attorney general. They actually replaced the carpet last Wednesday after 3 months of complaining about stains on my carpet.

I guess what I am trying to say is, Fuller homes won't do anything in your home unless you either ride them on a daily basis, or contact a lawyer! I still make daily phone calls to Fuller homes to get them to make the repairs that are still needed. One word of advice for new Fuller homeowners: DO NOT SIGN OFF ON YOUR HOME, make them fix it all before that, they will try to tell you that it is a warranty issue and just sign off and the warranty department will set up an appointment BS!!! Give them heck until they make the repairs.

Well we have yet another Fuller Homes victim to add to the growing list. I can only hope additional prospective buyers will take this into consideration and NOT BUY FROM THESE ASSHOLES! The whole corporate office is a group of thieves, liars, cheats, and need I say scum. Most of all Richard Fuller himself who advocates this behavior and relishes in it. All so he can make an easy buck and pay for his daughters drug re-hab and his womanizing. There are only three people left at their corporate office. They are all ill equipped mentally to handle the home building business and we are all seeing the results. I too unfortunately own a Fuller Home and it is a piece of s**t to say the least. Just remember your dealing with Richards looser sister Val Fuller as the President of Texas operations, Kay Fisher the absentee parent who relishes on her own inflated ego and breasts, and Stacy Bennet who is too busy trying to sleep with her next man. What a company. You suck Richard and these people can vouch for that!

Just want to make the point that some of the reports on this site by a former Fuller employee in TX have recently been signed "C." and that is not me. I am in Oklahoma, and am another unhappy owner of a Fuller Home, not a current or former employee of Fuller. If anyone wants to contact me about their defective Fuller-built home, my email is [email protected] Thank you. C.S.

I still am finding things in my home that need to be repaired. After reading more on this site I decided to look around for the repeated things mentioned on this site. Like standing water, yep found it. Actually I knew it was there. I had a sidewalk put in so I wouldnt have to step thru the mud and muck. Now the water has moved, I cant walk thru the other part now. I didn't know that this was something that they were supposed to take care of. It seems that there are alot of short cuts that this builder takes. I really love my home and will fight to the end to get it fixed! It is just sometimes you get so fed up with calling the hillbillies at the corporate office. I have a stove in my kitchen that actually sticks out 2 inches because they put the gas pipe in backwards and their solution was to put a piece of counter top behind it so it would just blend instead of fixing properly the first time. I recently spoke with a couple people that filed complaints on here. So here is what I am going to do. If you have a complaint and live in the 76137 area. Please send your pictures or documents to the Rip-off Report to post with your Rip-off Report. It is definitely time to make Richard Fuller put on his tool belt or go to the ATM. Lets get together and make them fix this stuff, no matter how petty. Please note that I am sending all of these things onto the attorney general. They have gotten alot of things fixed in my home (and more to come hopefully), hopefully they can help you too.

If you had an FHA loan, you have some leverage regarding breach of warranty, defective construction, etc. HUD/FHA can and has disciplined builders for this, including Fuller. I have the address of the correct HUD/FHA office to file a complaint with if you're interested. You may file a complaint against a home builder at www.hadd.com too. Another similar organization that is in TX is found at www.hobb.org As fellow owners of a Fuller Home, we'd like to talk with you if you're interested. Please email me. Thanks.
