Regarding claimant's neighbor who is 88 years old, we stripped her roof, put a new roof on and put up gutters for her. She did call us back regarding a small leak in her gutter which we fixed at no charge. We have not heard back from her regarding anymore complaints.
Regarding claimant's house, after stripping her roof I advised her that there were structural problems with the overhang on the backside of her house from when it was built and that in order to fix the problem you would have to reframe the whole overhang and it would be costly. I also informed her that repair was needed to the facial wood and soffit. These items were not on the estimate she was given. I told her that I would repair the facial wood and soffit at my own expense and try my hardest to work with the structural problems. I did tell her that if she installed gutters to the overhang on the backside of the house she wouldn't notice the structural problems as much.
