Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We purchased a weekend at Tahoe for $150.00 which included a two night stay at the Tahoe Ridge Resort and were given vouchers for food and entertainment.  We had to sit through over four hours of their timeshare speil and had to tell them repeatedly that we did not want to buy into it.  After that we were taken into a room where we were told that for $800+ they would provide us with plane tickets "anywhere they have a resort" and also a weeks stay "at any of their resorts, international or domestic".  I have been trying to get the airline tickets and am told we will have to wait over 8 hours at one of the layover stops along the way and that the fee is an additional several hundred dollars minimal or we can pay over $500.00 more for each ticket to get a direct flight.  There are also fees for the week at the resort.  We have had nothing but hassle and problems with getting this booked.  We were told by Ridge Resort that the $800 was a good deal since we got to stay at their resort (smelly and dirty inside) and made it clear that they could care less what the additional amounts were, and that all in all, that $800+ was a steal for all that we got, when the $800 was supposed to be for airline tickets since we had already paid $150.00 to stay at their resort and had to suffer through them hassling us into buying a timeshare that we did not want to buy.

I am so glad we weren't suckered into that as well.  Apparently, Ridge Resort has stopped using GOCRV which is convenient since there have been so many problems, but clearly shows that they know there are issues.  if you see either company RUN fast and do not sign up for anything they offer.  It is a complete rip off and a scam.

This company is still at it.  I had a coupon code from them it expired as i didnt claim it on line in 60 days...as they wanted... i called in they reactivated it on the spot after stateing it expired....and then said i had to pay 200 dollars for the taxes  for the flight to Puerto Rico and the hotel.  But during the conversation the attendent accidently stated that the taxes were between $110 and $185 dollars.  So i thought whats the rest of the payment for...of the $200?  i did a search on the web and there it was all the scamming thats been happening by this company......and its still going on....just got off the phone.

I just got their cruise offer this past weekend. As a resident of Florida, we have heard about this companny frequently. I believe they were known as Spirit Incentives and if you look them up they have had a quite few dealings with the Floriday AG.  My experience, none of these things are free. You have to pay. However, I diid save quite a bit of money on a curise with a company that gives these certificate thiings out. I believe it was Travelers Services Cener or Travel Service Center, something like that. I had to attend a timeshare presentation, but saving $800 bucks was worth an hour of my time. That is the only time my expectations were exceended, becuse most of these things are junk. Thanks for your post. It confirmed what I suspected.
