I have been a Rise/Rhino subscriber for over 2 years without issue until this past June. My 20mb plan speed will vary from being down to almost 19mb at times. Outages last from a few minutes to well over 12 hours at times. Speeds will sometimes 2% of my plan for extended lengths of time. I have called Rise 10 times and had one visit from Rise to my residence. I have documented over 40 outages during this time in a spreadsheet though more outages have occurred.

Calls to Rise result in varying guesses at root cause but none are being addressed. A general Tower ticket was created around June 19th (1656762) but nothing shows to be addressed as of my call to Rise on July 13th. A tech visited my residence for a short time but did not observe the issue during this visit so no analysis could be done. The tech did say he thought the issue was with the tower based on my history. The tech stated they are seeing issues with the Access Point on the west side of the tower which would include my residence.



Requests to escalate the issue at Rise are addressed with:

- It’s being escalated to Level II support

- We’ll monitor and call you back tomorrow (never received a call back)

- The tech’s manager getting on the phone with a short message the issue is being worked and is there anything else I called about 

- Call back in a day or two

I have found no other option for attempting to have this 5+ week issue resolved and the Rise Help Desk (866-948-5563) seems trained in stonewalling customers when asked about other methods to escalate.
