Received a collection of debt letter from "RJM Acquisition Funding LLC" in regards to a denied Fingerhut credit line from 2005-6.

While trying to rebuild our credit we stupidly applied for credit thru Fingerhut and were DENIED a line of credit.

Fine, whatever.....its over, we moved on, we didn't want any Fingerhut crap anyway but were trying to rebuild our credit.

Imagine our SHOCK when we received a letter from RJM Acquisitions Funding LLC out of Syosset NY in regards to a 'delinquent'(imaginary) Fingerhut account demanding payment of $353.32!!!!!

We were denied credit from Fingerhut so obviously we never ordered any merchandise (aka overpriced junk) from Fingerhut.

Today is Saturday April 7,2007......Fingerhut is closed and conveniently, so is RJM Acquisition Funding LLC!

But boy wait til Monday morning when they both get a call, along with filing a report with the FTC and each credit bureau.

They picked on the WRONG people here, people with numerous media contacts at CNN and other media outlets!

We haven't pulled our credit report yet but we will do that this evening to see if this fradulent 'debt collection' has been added to our credit report.

Thank God our Homeowner's Insurance company will pay for fraudulent credit usage, including lawyers fees ect.

A class action lawsuit needs to be brought against RJM for these 'junk debt' collection practices.

We've worked too hard to get our credit and we'll be damned if we'll pay one red cent to any fraudulent debt collection 'agencies'.

We're also filing a report in New York against this company as well as contacting our media sources.

Enough is enough.

Imagine the people that actually PAY this fraudulent and imaginary 'debt'.

Fingerhut must be losing money......didn't they file bankruptcy years ago? Maybe they figured out a way to recoup all the money they lost.

This is SICKENING. Frightenly sickening that a 'company' thinks they can charge someone for something they were DENIED credit to buy.

Talk about a RIP OFF!

Type in RJM Acquistions LLC into any search engine and you'll see we're NOT ALONE!
