The reason for my report is to protect future patrons form encountering difficulties with R&L Embroidery.  I also dont like bullies and liars and that is what I encountered there.  I was shocked to read the previous bad review on this company, mainly because it sounded like my story exactly.

I own a landscape business and needed a small order of work shirts.  I also needed my name put on a baseball cap.  I placed my order and paid in full.  I had a nice conversation with Richard about how I liked to support local businesses and he told me of his two adopted children, while being a Catholic like me.  I sent them the logo file Saturday September 29th, where it was agreed that I would receive an email Monday the 1st of October to view my logo prior to application.    I called Tuesday October 9th to inquire about my order.   Richard was out and the office staff promised to leave a message.  I also, left a message by phone on Wednesday the 11th and no returned call.  On the 12th I visited the store in person.  I expressed my concern over poor communication and follow through.  I received excuses and more promises that the items would be ready at 2:30pm that day.  I called at 4:00pm to ensure they were ready to pick up.  The items we not ready so Richard promised to deliver them that evening, since he lived close to my home.  He said he would call prior to delivery but failed to do so.  I became very upset and felt lied to and deceived.  I tried to call him at 7:30pm to find out where he was but there was no answer on his cell phone.

Finally, I called my bank and requested a reversal of charges.  I fell very disrespected and marginalized.  The worst part of it was that he said he is a fellow Catholic.  Now, I wonder if that was a lie too.  I forgive him and will pray for him and his business.  God bless them in their time of need, I tried to be fair and reasonable.

He still had my hat so I called the Phoenix police to meet me there and so I would not have any problems getting my property. Funny thing, when I and the two officers entered the business, the owner made the officers wait for five minutes while he continually took phone calls.  Now that takes nerve.  I finally got my hat and I anticipate my bank refunding my up-front money.  God Bless.
