Complaint Review: Robert Eugene Shores Jr. - Phoenix Arizona

Beware of Legacy Merchant Services a.k.a E-Merchant Services!! This is a company in Tempe, Arizona that provides credit card machines and services to businesses. The owner of the company is automatically debiting funds from customers for the service, double and sometimes even triple, and claiming that it is a bank error. This is not a banking error, it is intentional, and is a laughing matter that the customers are too stupid to do anything about it. Employees are instructed to "take a message" when anyone calls in to complain, and we receive multiple calls per day with upset customers who have called several times and have not received a response. The owner of this company has no respect for his customers and no respect for his employees. The last 3 payrolls, all of the employee checks bounced.

I should add that this child-support case was reported to Rep. Kay Granger of Texas, after being ignored, verbally abused, AND had files and reports "disappear" in the last 3 years by the child support division. She claimed she could do nothing as a FEDERAL Representative, despite Robert Eugene Shores Jr. crossing state-lines to Arizona, MAKING it a FEDERAL felony according to the Family Act of 1996. However, she did "Forward" my complaint directly to Attorney General John Cornyn.

I never received a response from him, however within three weeks, I began receiving FULL child support checks, WEEKLY! It was the FIRST time I've gotten payments since MY court order was given 3 years ago. Suddenly they were able to track him down, and even got Arizona to take over the order, giving the Phoenix Police Department legal rights to arrest him within their borders if he missed or dodged payments again.

Then, Rep. Kay Granger held Texas' OAG John Cornyn's hand throughout his campaign for the Senate, asking her constituents to vote for him. His MAIN platform in running was that he "Cracked down on Dead-beat dads, collecting MORE than any AG before him". He was elected into office as Texas' most recent Senator in November.

Shortly after voting day, the weekly payments I had grown accustom to since May 2002 STOPPED! And just in time for the Christmas holiday. We have a new AG, Greg Abbot. However, we still have the same case-workers refusing to follow their own procedures and protocols. I have since been told by Arizona that it's not their problem, Texas isn't providing adequate information. Texas has said, it's not our fault, Arizona won't cooperate.

My son went without the Christmas I had planned for him this year, and now I'm broke. I hope Kay Granger, John Cornyn, and every person that's touched my child support case had a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Our personal hell in trying to get government workers to do their jobs is just beginning ..... for a FOURTH year. Of course, if Oklahoma's Child Support Division had been doing their jobs, Robert's first wife would've been able to collect child support payments for their son during the same time Texas had him pegged down for my payments.

And if the Oklahoma City Police had followed their procedures, RES-Jr. would be in jail for crack cocaine charges, and if the Dallas City police had done their jobs correctly, he would be in court facing embezzlement charges.

And if the Euless, TX Police department were doing it's job, he would've been arrested for child endangerment, forgery, and grand theft.

And if the IRS had done their job correctly, they would have him in a Federal Prison for ducking taxes over the past 7 years. And if the Federal Trade Commission were doing it's job, he would've been arrested for stolen identity charges after stealing and using countless SSN#'s to gain access to apartments, cars, utilities, and furniture.

How does a small-time, uneducated criminal slip through "the system" for a span of 10 years, let alone SEVEN SYSTEMS???? No doubt the same way 19 foreign terrorists were able to blow up our buildings with our airplanes. Child Support cases are taken care of through each states' Attorney General's office. If a man can ignore the welfare of his own children, what other criminal acts is he capable of?

And if the highest authority in every state is in charge of catching them, why aren't they? Congress cared enough to pass a bill making all states responsible for collecting child support in 1988, and then re-examined the loop-holes and wrote the new Family Act of 1996, making it mandatory that all states help each other if a man flees to another state.

The statistic that changed everything for 1980's Congress and President George Bush was one that showed out of the 19 million children living in poverty in the 80's, 17 million were owed back child-support, and if they were receiving it, would NOT be in the poverty brackett.

As technology, laws, and government agencies have grown, somehow our country's problem with dead-beat dads and LAZY-a*s government workers has as well. And the only ones still suffering for it are the children!!!! WILL SOMEBODY HELP ME notify our 2003 Congress and President George W. Bush that this problem never went away???!!!
