Roberts Distributing Company Kirby dba Roberts Distributing Company Kirby dba Took advantage of an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s disease West Columbia South Carolina
On 12/1/2017 a salesman sold a Kirby Vacuum to my 70 year old wife who has Alzheimer’s Disease and already owns a Kirby Vacuum. Furthermore, he declined to accept her offer to use her credit card and took a $200.00 deposit and signed her on to an installment plan with a 3 day cancellation clause which was possible to exercise because the phone number provided (803-739-4321) was and is out of service. The installment plan has apparently been sold to a third party. The third party was contacted and reported that Roberts would be contacted. The third party reported that Roberts stated that they would contact us and resolve the issue nearly 3 weeks ago. We have not heard from Roberts and the phone number is not in service.
