I agree with you on your reasons for termination. robinson's may did not do right by you on your training. The policy on samples is you are only aloud 1 sample per line in the cosmetics dept. The real person who failed you is your dept. manager. They do have a detailed list as to what your training is to be on the selling floor. That includes what are causes for termination. As an ASM for this company I make every effort to train my employees by this list. I always have my new employees talk with loss prevention so things like this do not happen. The loss prevention in your store was way too harsh. The loss prevention in your store should have given you a warning first. Do keep in mind however that most of the theft out there in retail comes from the employees. Lastly if when you sign papers in the beginning of your employment request copies for your records just in case this happens to you again! Just a suggestion. As for the return you did I never heard of this happening ever!I do this myself all the time. If someone other than a spouse was using your discount it is suspicious. They are not entitled to it you are! Did you let someone use your card without you present? If so the other associates failed you because they are suppose to check id first. Sorry this happened to you.
