Please accept my complaint against Robison Furniture Store doing business as Furnish It in Lumberton, Texas located at 1195 South Main Street, 77657.
Mr. Dustin Robison does not operate this business on principles that most similar businesses operate on. I purchased a defective recliner from him on Saturday November 22nd. and returned to his business as soon as the next business day was available, since the store is closed on Sunday. I have an issue with the ergonomics of this recliner as it puts my back, neck and left leg to sleep as I recline in the recliner. I was willing to purchase a more expensive model in good faith, however he ordered me out of his store.
This chair came out of a new box and did not sit the same as the floor model did, as I sat in the chair for at least an hour on and off checking the integrity of this product. The recliner is an Ashley recliner and I contacted them to only find out that Ashley Furniture will not stand behind their own product as well. Dustin required I pay $80.00 to take the recliner back, even though I was willing to spend a greater amount for another recliner. Please assist me if you can.
