I was contacted by this company offering SEO for my business. The sales person was very excellent in creating a buzz around how many clients I would get and asking if I would have availability in my schedule for how busy I would be. I have generally steered away from SEO companies as so many make big promises they cannot deliver. I decided to give this a try as Rogers and Google are both big companies and I felt I would be protected from any scams. As I am nearing the end of the 3 month contract I have only had 2-3 good leads, although none of these have turned into clients. 

In voicing my complaint to the account manager I was told that there was nobody I could talk to as sales and the technical department are separate. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes insisting I be given somebody I can talk to as I would like some of the money refunded. I recognize I signed a contract, but I feel they have not fulfilled their end. I was told that it is impossible to refund anything on a contract and that there was nobody with whom I could take this up. My contact information would be passed on to somebody who would get back to me (we will see). I have also requested that the sales call be transcribed and given to me, again we will see. The account manager stated that under no circumstances would it be possible to refund any money - I had signed a contract and that was all there was to it. 

I expressed my disbelief that a company such as Rogers would have nobody who manages complaints and that as this situation stands I very much feel that this is an instance of buyer beware and that there is no integrity in the company. I feel thy are avoiding any accountability for what they promised and delivered or more appropriately failed to deliver. As a business owner myself I am shocked and disgusted by this lack of business responsibility and complaint management. I would never recommend this company to anyone and will follow up with a letter to the Better Business Bureau and post this complaint where I can as I feel incredibly frustrated to have no recourse.
