Ronald Campeau Scumbag landlord that lies about damages to apartments Genesee Depot Wisconsin
Unfortunatley when I was 19 I picked a real lousy roomate to live with named FRED TREU. Our landlord was Ronald Campeau in a crummy apartment in Cudahy wisconsin. Anyway the lousy roomate never paid rent, he started dating the butt ugly girls that lived in the apartment building ( trashy welfare moms ) and went out every night to bars with them so never had rent money. After kicking him out after 3 months the dumb a*s lost his keys to the apartment and so he broke the front door (this door was so flimsy and hollow ) I requested to the landlord to fix the damages and he said I had to pay $400 for the door, even though I told him FRED TREU did it. Around the same time the shower knob broke ( it was a cheap peice of crap ) I also requested this be fixed, and he said I had to pay for that because I broke it.
The trashy girls in the aprtment building (it was a four family) were mad that I kicked out FRED TREU, so they constantly called the cops EVERY NIGHT saying I was loud. I had freinds stay at the house for me when I was working BECAUSE MY FRONT DOOR WAS BROKEN, AND I DIDNT WANT ANYONE STEALING MY THINGS!!! I always paid rent on time, and both me and Fred were on the lease. The landlord eveicted me for supposedly being loud (the other tenants lied because I kicked out fred) He then sent me a letter saying I owed him around $1200 for damages to the apartment, and the list said that I wrote on the walls, ruined the carpet, etc. none of which was true! The letter also said I owed 19% interest a year until it was paid!!!
I went to court to dispute it but noone believed me. The police report said I wasn't loud when they came to the apartment, but that the tenants said we watched for them to come them became quiet, AT COURT IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, not the other way around.
The judge decided I had to pay $515, and with all the court costs included it came out to about $644. Which I never wanted to pay, but me and my husband are now looking to buy a home and that needed to be paid in order to buy a home. SO RONALD CAMPEAU I HOPE YOU HAVE FUN SPENDING MY MONEY YOU LYING SLUMLORD.
