Rooms Furniture and Accessores RIP OFF (The compnay supplied rejected three piece reclining sofa set with multiple scratches, mud and stains on all the three pieces. WOODBRIDGE Ontario
We paid 100% cash amount to Rooms Furniture and Accessories at Woodbridge location on Dec. 29/2013 to receive delvery of three piece leather reclining sofa set by Jan. 20 th, 2014. When we inquired about delivery by phone we came to know from one of the person in store (Krishi) that due to bad weather we have not recieved the container and hence you have to wait few more weeks for delivery.
This company infact after taking the money don't answer the phone calls. The staff members are in the habit of rude behaviour and knoe how to cut the calls. This company has no courtsey for its customers and they even don't care about it. The phone call we make even does'nt go to the store in Woodbridge. Infact it ends up going to their other locations in Mississauga and Brampton.
I end up going to Woodbridge location to get my money back and the person (Sohrab) told us that delivery will be done in few more days. He also said that I can't give you the refund, I am employee only. When I never agreed for the delivery he end up connecting to his Manger(Komal Kooner) in Mississauga location and she promised me that delivery will be done in few more days and it will be brand new pieces in side the box. She also told me that you can talk to me any time in the feature regarding this sofa set.
Delivery arrived after few days and we all were so upset to look at the three pieces as all of them were having multiple scratches, stains and mud. The delivery never came in boxes it just came in two pieces of cardboard and plastic sheet wrap around. Delivery was also done during night time around 7:45 pm when I was not at home.
After this we called this company so many times, all the time either they cut the call or not attend the call at all. We paid all the money for the brand new quality sofa set and what we have got is third quality sofa set which the company may not even seel for half the cost.
Customers has so many complaints against this company. I have checked BBB and realized their are more than 50 complaints. So I advise all the customers in the GTA area not to buy any product from this compnay which is big RIP OFF. This company should be banned to do any kind of business in the GTA AREA, as this is playing against the emotions of its clients. Be aware, this company has locations in the SCARBOROUGH, WOODBRIDGE, MISSISSAUGA AND BRAMPTON AREAS. Be aware and save your self from strees and RIPOFF.
