Roseland Icebox Co. Roseland Ice Box Co. John Flanagan of Roseland Icebox takes payment for handmade hardware that he never delivers West Virginia
Roseland Icebox, operated soley by John Flanagan, sold me hardware about 2 1/2 years ago. I gave a $300. deposit and a month later he asked for the full amount saying he was having temporary financial difficulties and needed it to pay the rent on the business. He said if we could give him advance payment for the total amount of almost $1,500. he would put a rush on our order which was partially done. I didn't care about the rush but did it to help as he seemed honest, and sincere.
It's been countless broken deadlines and promises and more lies and bs than I can count. I've never recieved my hardware. He's always polite but has gotten increasenly evasive and now doesn't answer emails or calls.
After many similar complaints, has earned his F rating on the W. Virgininia BBB site, has moved frequently, and there are many stories on the net like mine. He is still operating his website and no doubt still taking peoples money for which they will never recieve the goods. He's a gentlemanly scammer, don't fall for his good Christian, nice guy routine.
