We hired them to replace a leaking flat roof. The workers wouldn't speak English (except when they wanted something) and were unconcerned that they caused over $1000 damage to the concrete tile roof (caused by negligence). We were told that 1 row of the concrete tile needed to be removed, and that it would be replaced! They removed 2 or 3 rows and refused to replace it, they were so careless that they cracked two ceilings (one so bad the entire light fixture fell out!). There are now two very large leaks that weren't even there before they did the work. The owner won't return calls and when I finally got ahold of him, said that we were warned that this could happen and he's not liable!

True, I am not the homeowner, but am acting as an agent of the homeowner with his full permission! I think the photos speak for themselves - and Citizens Insurance claimed $8500 damage to the interior of the house alone (not including the roof) done by Royal Blue Roofing. Anyone who does not believe me is welcome to contact Tamarac Code Enforcement and Citizens Insurance for the details!
Kevin Skelhorn (Royal Blue's Owner) has refused to give any insurance info, personally I don't believe he has any! A neighbor called him for an estimate and was given a fake insurance company's name. Florida law requires contractors to carry insurance, but does not require them to prove they have it when renewing a license.
Kevin Skelhorn has repeatedly threatened me by telephone, email and now online if I do not remove my negative comments. He has gone as far as circling my house repeatedly. The homeowner has filed complaints with Broward County, as well as the State of Florida's contractor licensing divisions, and has received an insurance claim payment, so I welcome any and all lawsuits brought by this person! He will be wasting HIS money on legal fees for a lawsuit he cannot possibly win.
The 'interfering' I did that he is referring to is when I went up on the roof in a thunderstorm to cover large holes that were made by his employees in sections of concrete roof tiles they had broken.
A 4' x 8' section of my bedroom ceiling was severely damaged by leaks (that never leaked until they replaced the flat roof over an adjoining room). The kitchen ceiling literally fell into the sink, and there were holes larger than one foot square left in the concrete roofing! (They were only to replace the flat roof but were so careless that they broke several sections of the concrete roof next to it. Code Enforcement's Chief inspector was witness to rthe damage done as well as the head of Tamarac's Building Department and our insurance agent.
The Chief Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Tamarac was on our roof in a three-piece suit and said that his work should never have passed inspection and that it was, and I quote, "The sloppiest roofing job I've ever seen".
In Kevin Skelhorn's defense, he may not have known all the damage done as he refused to come by and refused to return our calls for months until I filed the original review of his work.

The person who wrote this complaint is not the owner of the property and tried to interfere with work we had done thus making it worseMy company will be filing a lawsuit for false accusations against us which is damaging my reputation
