My husband received a phone call offering him a credit card with a 0%APR. We have been married 9 years and have used our other credit card one time. So since we have behaved ourselves and not ran up credit card debt, he decided this was an offer he wouldn't pass up. Now he wishes he would have! Within 3 days of their phone call, our account was debited $250.00, that was 5 months ago. After the first month went by, he phoned them to find out where the card was and they sent us a black plastic box containing other "offers", but no card. Fast forward a few more weeks and another few phone calls and the excuses started rolling in. "It must have gotten lost in the mail" was the most popular. So here it is, March of 2003, and still no card or $250.00. I'm taking the advice I found on this website and going to the Bank today, and I'm not leaving without our money.
