Hi. My uncle once had buyer's remorse after going to a presentation in Miami. He quickly and painlessly was refunded though by emailing [email protected] with his membership number and whatnot. The customer service staff was extremely helpful, and he received his money back; no questions ask. Perhaps they've been busy with timeshare purchases... so they've been slower to respond? Give it a try. Hope it works out. -Adam

Hello Mrs. Rosie Aragon, I am happy to see that you are going to refund somebody else's money, but if this is really true, I went back in person with in 5 days to get my refund from Sunset Group after purchasing a timeshare when I asked for my refund back they told me that I couldn't get a refund, because the contract was a re-sale contract ( Of course I found out that this was a lie), but I was told before I made the purchase that I could get a full refund back if I was unhappy. I also then sent in emails and faxes which Sunset Group Mysteriously did not receive. So Mrs. Rosie Aragon I did both I went back with in 5 days and I also sent written requests as well, SO WHERE IS MY MONEY??? Or are u randomly choosing who get back the money, so u don't look bad? Also Thanks for NOT returning my emails to you.

To have a valid, written cancellation, it must have been recieved by our offices within the 5 day period. Verbal offers to cancel and cancellation requests that are recieved after the 5 day period are not valid. If you have not notified us in writing within the 5 day periiod, be assured that we are comitted to working with you to resolve any issues that you may have. In order to continue looking into your concerns we are going to need you to contact us with the real name and membership number. These people need to be jailed. They had attempted to extort money from me as well, for an alleged vacation I had won. Please see other reports on "summer bay resorts" from this site. However while I was on the phone with them reviewing over the ficticious vacations that they claim I had won, I decided to google the name of the company and tons of complaints had came up on them. I do not know what your rights are for getting your money back, because they were not successful in "doing me in". But if you look through some of the reports where others were taken for their money, it could offer some advice on how you can get your money back.
