Following a hail storm, we were in search of a roofer. We saw a crew working on a house and then contacted the boss. Mr. Rodriguez (R & R Construction) came by and gave us an estimate for roofing the house and shop. He swore he was one of the good guys and would not be one to "leave us hanging".

We provided him with full payment in 3 different installments.

The house roof was installed between 12/22/08 and 1/11/09.

On Tuesday, 1/13/09 we contacted Mr. Rodriguez by phone and asked when he would be returning to do the shop roof as agreed upon.

On Thursday, 1/15/09, the roof for the shop was re-measured.

Approximately 2 weeks later, we called Mr. Rodriguez and asked about the roof.

He stated the tin was on the trailer but the transmission was out on his truck.

2 weeks later, we called from our home phone and left a message. I called later from a separate number and he answered, again, tin on the trailer, will get this week.

Several more attempts to call have been made from various phone numbers. Messages have been left.

5/2/09, we saw he and his crew (with his truck), working on the neighbor's roof. We went to him and he stated that he would have to get the tin and would get to it as soon as possible. We asked at that time if he could possibly get it done by the first of June so that we could submit our final receipts to our insurance. He said he would try.

5/30/09, I called Mr. Rodriguez and left a message informing him that the shop roof remained incomplete and also that since we recently had some rain, the house roof is now leaking. I asked him to call or come by.

He has not responded to the request to complete the job or the request to repair/finish the work which is now causing additional damage to our interior.

6/14/09 and 6/15/09 Another major hail storm has hit. The insurance adjustor indicates the roof is damaged but that the major leaks inside the house are due to how the roof was installed not due to the damage.

We will be out thousands of dollars to repair.
