In Dec '03 I ordered $1100 worth of furniture thru rusticandmore.com. My credit card was immediately charged for the full amount. The furniture was supposed to be delivered in 10-12 weeks. Ten weeks later I emailed the company to inquire about my order. They said everything was on schedule and I should receive it in the next 2 weeks. 2 weeks later..... nothing. I emailed again and got an apology stating a slight delay, but everything was in order, just 2 more weeks.

This went on for almost a year with multiple excuses as to why it would be only 2 or 4 more weeks.... yet every time.... nothing. I was EXCESSIVELY patient and gave them the benefit of doubt regarding every excuse they gave (some of those same excuses are published on this site with other complaints and rebuttals). In Nov 2004 they "transferred" my order to "erustic.com". I explained to "erustic" what had transpired so far, that I was disappointed with the service from rusticandmore.com, and that I hoped this would be resolved quickly. Here is their response:

"I understand your concern, but here at eRustic.com we do things differently. I should have information on your order this coming week and will update you personally via email.

Giovana."

Apparently they DON'T do things differently (unless you consider their progressively worsening customer service). And they did NOT update me personally within the week. I had to prompt them with another email. They then said everything was in order and would take about 4-6 weeks.

Big surprise!!! Absolutely nothing has changed I continue to get excuses and assurances that my order is on the way. Actually, one thing has changed now they only intermittently respond to my emails, and even then it takes 2-3 weeks.

According to a rebuttal to another complaint on this website (George from Jessup, Pennsylvania on 11-22-04), online enterprises states:

"As of July 1st 2004, the company successfully resumed its operations, delivering all orders received since July 1st. All income is being currently focused towards leveling the company financial situation and resolving all pending cases. Measures have been taken to avoid this from ever happening again in the future.

This is entirely FALSE!!! My order was supposedly re-ordered in Nov 2004; the only thing I've received since then is the continued runaround that I've been getting all along.

I have filed a complaint with consumer affairs in Palm Beach County they are aware of multiple problems with this company; they also informed me that the address the company provides on its website is actually a PO Box, not a true "street address".

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES:

westernandmore.com

wouthwestandmore.com

online enterprises (oecorp.us)

They will TAKE your money.

They will NOT deliver the product.

They will NOT keep you informed unless you initiate communication (and even then may not respond).

They will continue to give EXCUSES instead of results.
