Complaint Review: Sabato Sisillo M.D. Midwest Pulmonary Consultants - Kansas City Missouri

Sabato Sisillo M.D. has been my husband for the last 15 years. Wee have 4 beautiful and precious children ages 13F, 11F, 7F,&6M. He has been battering me for the last 15 years and also the children. February 23, 2002 I filed for divorce and also a Protection From Abuse order to protect the children and myself from withstanding any further abuse from this man. That was just the begining.

May, 2002 Sabato Sisillo was arrested for violation of the protection order and for physically slapping anpushing our 13 year old daughter over Dr.Bruce(a practicing psychiatrist who lost his lisence to prescribe narcoitcs for self prescribed drugs and alcohol addiction) and Angela Parsas home in an affluent Hallbrook neighborhood in Leawood Kansas while in the presence of Dr. Parsa and family. June 2002 SRS found him to not only to be a danger to us his family but was prohibited from practicing medicine, ann being in the presence of children.

July 2002 another incident at our sons t-ball game ... victims 11 yr daughter and myself which left us very fearful because the police were involved and charges were filed again. That led the children and I to a Battered Womens Shelter where we would be for the next four weeks. A blessing in disguise. Domestic Violence and the denial of this really happening to us would begin to be exposed. The debilitating cycle was finally being uncovered.

Court supervised visitation was the only option for my children to see their father whom they missed so much and were struggling to make sense of their fathers behaviors,anger and rage which they percieved to be a "normal" part of their lives in our home.

CASA (Court visitation program) was a dissapointment in reguards to the way they conducted themselves. First, they are volunteers and second I choose the program and was extremely dissatisfied with their lack of professionalism and ethics based upon the facts that were substantiated on our behalf contradicted by the apparent manipulation and control used by Sabato to persuade by status and charm to lie his way to get people to believe him.

They are out of the picture thankfully and all I can say about that experience is that if you can look the part and play the game well, and you have money and status and power,the victim will be forced to submit to further abuse for trusting in a system that is supposed to be advocating on behalf of the rights of the victim and their children. Well thats just a shame to have a system so biased yet be a credible, functioning program to be a jaded voice for victims.

I could go on but the purpose here is not to give the juicy details to support the theme because I dont feel it necessary to condemn another for all the wrongs they have done, thats Gods job.I am just one small voice saying "NO MORE ABUSE" . I deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, as I treat others.

I would like to thank my children, my best friend Sabrina , and my 3RD attorney Cindy Whitton for the strength and support, and encouragement to come this far. It's been 1 yr and we are not even close to finilazing this but you know what........ I am a survivor and I have to thank my 4 beautiful children for reinforcing my purpose in life everyday! Thank you, Lisamarie, Bianca,Rosie and Vincent I will always love you!!!! Mom
