Safe-Guard Products International, LLC Shady dealings in reguards to refunds
In 2015, we purchased a camper. One of the add ons was a 5 year wheel and tire protection plan from Safe Guard. Mid 2016 we sold the camper and no longer needed the wheel and tire protection plan. The agency where we bought the camper was advised that we no longer needed the add ons. Paperwork was submitted for pro rated refunds. Pro rated refunds were issued for every add on minus the wheel and tire protection plan from SafeGuard at the end of July 2016. Camping World of Grain Valley, MO. was contacted reguarding the missing refund from Safe Guard. We were advised that it was not Camping World that was in charge of refunding said wheel and tire protection plan and was given a 800 number to contact SafeGuard directly. Safe Guard was contacted and they advised that after thirty days it is a non refundable protection plan. I do not recall seeing anything in writing advising of such. They also advised that Camping World was the entity that would benefit from the approximately $876.00 due back in a pro rated refund. In the grand scheme of things, is this a Camping World or SafeGuard problem? I do not know. I do know that said practice is unethical and dishonest.
