I don't usually write reviews but if I could save even one person the headaches that my mom and myself had at our homes, then I'll feel as I helped.  We had SAFETOUCH SECURITY for over seven years, I continued to pay my monthly fee on-time; however I found out last Friday that because my phone service was vonage, I was not being monitored for the past four to five years, they said it was our responsibility to know this.  I took responsibility but wanted to know why after calling twice in the past two years, told the representative that my security was not working, they had me unscrew and trouble shoot the battery, told me they are sending a battery out, I never receive a battery, I called again and ask why not someone come out, I was told I will have to pay for the service call, but they will send another battery out still never receive a battery.  After speaking to a representave last week a tech came out and told me even though I was paying Safetouch for the past four to five years I was not being monitored.  I call today spoke again to a representative who made it a point to let me know that this was all my fault, she said we should read our bill carefully, and even had me in the system as receiving two batteries which I never received, this is after doubting that I never called in for a battery.   I told herthe Rep that I am very dissatisfied with Safetouch service and asked to be cancelled immediately and that I wish to no longer continue to pay each month.  The representative told me that for her to cancel service and payment I would have to send in a written explanation, and she hung up the phone on me while I was speaking.  The Rep did not listen to me as a customer, but she kept insisting that it was all my fault.  After the rep hung the phone up on me I felt as if Safetouch just used me took my monthly payments for four years and didn't even care if I had service or not, I will start with my community to let everyone know to be aware of this type of service from all those who have safetouch.
