Salliemae Unauthorized Payments Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania
Sooo...I've heard a lot of horror stories...the ones where people are paying too much...being called 10 times a day...threatened...hung up on...even unauthorized payments being taken from accounts...but never did I think the same company that had the nicest representatives when I was borrowing the money...turn around and make these horror stories my REALITY!
I am now doing the investigating MYSELF! Another female wrote a report similar to what I'm writing last year in May and I am taking her advice and doing the investigating myself...complain...call...ask questions...it's YOUR money...I have recently had money taken out of my account without authorizing it and am now (at this very moment) waiting for a call back...this is the longest I've gone without a phone call from Salliemae in weeks...when I pay I get harrassing phone calls all hours of the day...when it wasn't time for me to start re-payment I received 10 calls a day...All representatives had a different story on my account...noone told me the same information...I even had one raise her voice at me as if I owed HER money...
What it boils down to is this...they no longer consolidate because it was saving borrowers money and they were losing out...so now you can have a million loans due all on different dates with different amounts...and they will "accidentally" automatically charge any bank account you have used to make a previous payment...Borrowers beware...this is a fight I have finally put my gloves on for....better late than never!
