They have told me many, many times that they would be calling me back to resolve the situation of
an exhaust system I bought from SDT but was actually made by a different company called P1. SDT had me take pictures of where I measured the exhaust connection to show them it didn't fit correctly.
I sent them to Dan but never heard back from him. Now I am out the cost of the shop time for the mechanic to do the measurements with a caliper plus the cost of the equipment they sold me.
I can not get them to refund the $874 I paid them even though the exhaust connection will not fit and nothing was ever installed or modified. They told me several times that they would send me a return shipping label but then failed to do that.
The bottom line is that they have never called me back, not even once to get things fixed.
They just kept giving me the run araound until the return window and feedback window on Ebay expired. That's why I filed this rip off report.
If you do business with these liars and have a problem you will be screwed.

Well, I finally got a response from someone at SDT after dozens of phone calls.
First of all Dan, we have never talked. I never made through your gauntlet of minions to have a telephone conversation with you. The only correspondence we have had is the email that I sent you with all the photos taken by the mechanic showing how we measured the diameter of the down pipe etc. These are posted in the original rip-off report.
For the record, no one at SDT has ever offered to send me a different exhaust on SDT's dime.
In fact, the highest I made it up the food chain was talking to your (account manager?) man Mike who told me that I would have to pay the return postage and a restocking fee in order to return the items. Never was an offer made to send me a new exhaust. Never!
In fact your, man Mike questioned me about the fact that I filed a dispute with PayPal, and after that he never again answered my calls, and no one ever called me back regarding this matter even though he told me twice that someone would call me to rectify the situation.
So, your response is incorrect.
Now, for the record, I will take you up on your offer to have you send me a new exhaust system if in fact that is the offer.
However, in the interest of saving you money I will make the following offer. If you can replace the single piece in the exhaust system that does not fit properly with one that does I will use it to install the system. By the way, this is what I have tried to express to everyone I talked to including Mike but apparently no one really listened.
The only part that does not fit is the downpipe connection labelled as 1. FRONT PIPE in the diagram
made by P1 RACE PARTS. If you can replace it with a part that is the same length but has the concave (rather than flat) mating surface so it will fit the downpipe, this will satisfy the situation. I will even send you a PPE downpipe so that you can make sure it mates correctly and can be secured by the standard GM v-clamp.
So, I will put all this in an email to you. And we will go from there.

First, im not sure who hennessy or tom hennesy or tom heene or whoever is. My name is Dan, The owner of SDT. We have on more then one occasion offered to send you a different exhaust (on our dime), and we never heard back from you.
