WARNING - DO NOT USE SAN DIEGO KITCHEN & BATH!

San Diego Kitchen and Bath is not ethical!! When there is a mistake on their end they don't notify the homeowner and then take every short cut possible to fix it, if and when the homeowner does find the error they argue the issue. We have remodeled several homes and never before had this problem. This is the worst experience we have ever had.

The owner of the company is a bully who tries to intimidate the customer in order to have them back down. The way a customer is treated is appauling. We have spent approximately $175,000 dollars with this company yet when we didn't agree with the owner on an issue he told us we were difficult to work with.

The company did all of the cabinety in our house, kitchen and family room built-in cabinets. Our family room and kitchen are adjoining. The crown moulding, hardware, etc. were suppose to be the same, however they are not. Our issue is this is what we asked for when we hired San Diego Kitchen & Bath.

We are not engineers or builders so we hired a company that has an in-house designer, engineers and the contractors so everything could be coordinated in house. We trusted that the designer and engineer would check measurements and details.

In our family room we have custom built cabinetry that cost apprximately $30k and when there was a six inch gap above the television we were told it was for ventalation and then after we said an inch was already allowed for that we were told we may want to get a bigger television in the future (this would also require width which we don't have).

The hardware in our kitchen was installed one way and then done differently in the family room. When we questioned this we were told by the designer and the owner of the company that the industry standard is the way it was done in the family room then why was it done differently in the kitchen?

We have done some research and discovered that San Diego Kitchen and Bath has had other unhappy customers....make sure you are not one of them.

The company has now agreed to rectify this problem to our satisfaction. We are pleased that they will be correcting the issues addressed in a professional manner.
