Sanford Brown Institute - Tampa, FL Very misleading from the admissions reps to the financial aid reps and the president tampa, Florida
The admissions reps will tell you anything to get you to sign up to attend this school...they also use "high pressure" saying "that they only have a few openings left to start the classes coming up". Once you have started classes the admissions rep wont have anything to do with you and tell you to go to your program director, the program director NEVER has time to speak to the students, and so you need to talk to someone and turn to the president and he basically shrugs everything that you tell him off. Then he repeatedly ignores you or turns the other way to avoid conflict with you because nothing has been done to correct your situation. the financial aid dept is repeatedly telling the students different stories about their money.
I have had my student loans cancelled twice and "nobody" can explain the reason or who actually cancelled them. Some of the insructors in the medical assistant program are REALLY AWESOME, but the majority of the instructors are a joke. they don't know how to teach, one of the instructors sits in class and texts her favorite students talking about students that she doesn't like. The lab classes at Sanford Brown are a joke, they teach the students 10 days of phlebotomy & injections and they dont get any other instruction throughout the program. They dont teach students how to chart properly, they have lost numerous extern sites for all the programs due to the students lack of knowledge. They lost their accreditation for the surgical technician program and the ultrasound program is not recognized. If a student enrolls in the ultrsound program they have to work for approx 3 years before they can even sit for the certification exam.
My advise to anyone looking for a trade school for the medical field is NOT TO ATTEND Sanford Brown Institute.

E-Mail Stuart Talley at stalleykcrlegal.com. He is an attorney that will work with me to file a class action lawsuit against this school if I can find enough present and former students. I would like to specifically find students who attended the Diagnostic program but he said he is willing to hear from other students who attended this schools other programs.
