Sanford Brown Institute Don't waste your money Dallas Texas
This school is a joke. I attended this school for their Cardiovascular Technology program. After being shown amazing employment placement statistics and being told that their were plenty of jobs available in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area I signed up. Now $35,000 and 18 months later, I have found that Sanford-Brown's reputation is so poor that many Dr.s and hospitals in this area will not even interview people who have graduated from this school. I guess that explains why, after being told that their were plenty of job locally, the school keeps trying to encourage me to go out of state to find a job. I also have found out that those amazing job statistics in which 94% of their students have jobs, well, many of those are temporary or part-time jobs that don't even come close to paying enough money to cover their bills, let alone that huge student loan. I expressed concerns about the lack of jobs available in this area, to the head of the Department, and was assured that since I was a 4.0 student I would have no problem finding a job. Not true.
As far as the education is concerned, many of the machines are out dated, students openly cheat on test in the presence of the instructors, and class start times are subjective at best (Whenever the instructor could find free time to hold class). Basically, as long as you pay the money, that is all that matters.
If you are considering attending this school, do yourself a favor, save your money a get a real education at a real school.

the answer is yes, they will try to require you to take the ma program at sbi in order to take higher courses like sonography. i wasted alot of money there and the ma program was completely useless. don't believe everything you are told. i ended up with a debt that got me nowhere.
