Sanford Brown ,Sanford Brown Institute/Ultrasound Diagnostic School Please Don't Do It Jacksonville Florida
My name is Mona and I attended what was then UltraSound Diagnostic School (today-Sanford Brown Institute). As an excited 23 year old trying to do better for me and my 2 year old daughter I signed up for what I thought was an ultrasonographer and what I ended up with was a useless certificate in medical assisting.
When I realized what was done I went to the dean and she advised that I had to take this course first and work in the field for a year and then I can become an ultrasonographer.
After researching afterwards after I had signed my name ( Oh my) I found out I could have taken the 9 month course and my local community college at a fraction of the cost and better yet earn an associates degree so I will be certified not registered.
Needless to say after that experience I was left discouraged until Amen Jesus came along and gave me something better..
But my advice to you all please please do your research and don't just go in all gun-h*o because bottom line you want to be marketable especially in todays job market and going to Sanford Brown Institute is NOT.. I repeat is NOT the best way to start. Thank you and you all be blessed..God has something far better for you than having to worry about paying back student loans on a certificate that you will not be able to use... Glory be to God the Highest and again may all the readers be blessed in your endeavors. Thanks
