S.A.R. & ASSOCIATES ARE THEY SERIOUS? FT LAUDERDALE Florida
I was recently notified that my information held by OPM was breached (Hoorah Federal Government for keeping my information safe...NOT). Shortly after I started receiving calls from SAR &Associates, stating I owed a payday loan in the amount of $958. The letter came from their "Civil Procedures Department" They have the last 4 of "A" social security number in the regards section of the letter... I (so they say) received a payday loan in 2012, however, it is in Civil dispute, never on my credit report, did I mention the amount owed is odd? I researched payday loans because I have never received one, I have yet to come across one who lends in halves and not whole dollar amounts. Calling SAR the "representitive" gave me bits and peices of some very old information, and seriously wanted me to verify this madness she was rambling off to me...Ummmmm NO! These people and their company are a complete CROCK and I will be taking this new letter they sent me to my security office tomorrow. Do not give these people the time of day, if they call you DO NOT talk to them, hang up immediately and if possible, change your phone number... They are relentless...
