The "crazy interior designer' is not the only one that has received checks issued by Zulma Breakey that have bounced. It is surprising that bad check charges have not been filed against Zulma in the past. Zulma has a history of writing bad checks. A Dallas-based clothing botique store has received multiple checks that have bounced that were issued by Zulma. Zulma must now pay cash for everything she buys at this particular botique. I suspect the only reason the botique owner has not filed charges is due to the large amount of money Zulma spends on designer clothes. She appears to have replaced her substance abuse addictions with a shopping addiction, that is perhaps funded in part by the many plaintiffs against Mr. Breakey and his companies. Bad check charges can be charged as a state felony, depending on the particular circumstances and dollar amount of the check(s). Her "modest" 3000 square foot home is adorned with high-end furniture, extensive and expensive designer clothing, and has a Range Rover and a BMW 745i in the driveway. Her son also attends a very expensive private school in Dallas. I don't think she and Jason would be very well received should the fellow parents, teachers and administrators knew of Jason's pendng criminal charges and multitude of civil cases against himself and companies he has/is affiliated with. Not only would the school not want to be affiliated with Jason Breakey but none of the parents would want their children near such a dysfuntional family. With the current and pending criminal charges against Jason and litany of civil charges, he has no credibility in a civil or criminal court of law, nor does Zulma Breakey with bad checks outstanding. Zulma's modest home may soon become more modest. Given the criminal charges pending against Jason Breakey, his new home will be even more modest. The house of cards is starting to fall.

Anyone interested in the M.O. of Jason Breakey can assess on their own accord the merits business and personal claims preceding this rebuttal - they are not consistent with the multitude of civil suits that have been filed against both Jason Breakey and companies he is/has been associated with over a 10+ year period. His character can also be assessed by the multiple criminal charges filed and pending against him as of this past year in Dallas County and in Cleburne. Zulma Gaunt Breakey's comments border on the level of slander. Zulma indicates anonymous phone calls were made to her over a period of months. Zulma should be able to provide my phone number, as it would have shown up in her caller ID log the one time I contacted her (she subsequently changed her phone number). Zulma was not calm in the discussions I had with her, in which I requested for she and her husband to sit down and work out an amenable solution for all. She started to yell, told me she was a good mother and that she was working her 12-step alcoholics anonymous program (all irrelevant points to mention to me). She provided Jason's number to me, at which point I called him to attempt to work out an amenable solution. Upon contacting Jason, he accused me of making prank phone calls to his wife and indicated he did not plan on honoring his contract with my wife's firm. Zulma and Jason have a significant outstanding balance including unpaid charges for both goods and services rendered, and which multiple checks were rendered by Zulma, some which bounced and one that was unsigned. There is one remaining check in the amount of $849.23 issued on 5/6/08 that is in possession that has consistently been indicated as "NSF" from her bank. She has been notified of this and has never made good on this check. Note that isuance of bad checks is a criminal charge and the dollar amount pending can be considered a felony. In addition, a Demand Letter was sent to Jason & Zulma Breakey, both regular and certified mail, requesting full payment for the goods and services rendered. This letter was never responded to by either Jason or Zulma. While it is correct that I approached Jason Breakey at a footbal game, I did not run up to him, start dropping the "F" bomb, nor push him. There are several witnesses that saw the entire incident and are prepared to support this should I proceed with Class C Assault & Battery Charges. Mr. Breakey did not kick me in the mid-section, but in the groin. He also attempted to punch me in the face, at which point multiple YMCA refererrees physically dragged him away and made him leave the field. All of this occured right in front of his eight year-old son. While the police did arrive at the scene, they came at my request. A report was filed for Assault and Battery against Mr. Breakey in which witnesses also provided reports to the police. As over six referrees will attest, I calmly left the field and was respectful and thankful to all referrees that intervened. The police report will clearly show that I was not aggressive nor pointing fingers - a ridiculous claim on Zulma's behalf. In summary, Zulma and Jason are very sick individuals and do not appear to be working their respective 12-step programs for substance abuse. Given Jason's recent charges for possession of marijuana (and several other pending felony charges), he clearly needs to talk to his 12-step sponsor or get a new one. Although Zulma told me "she was working her program", the extensive number of lies she has posted on this site clearly indicates she is not working her recovery program.
