You bought a car, you claim you were ripped off, so you, in your dissatisfaction sold the car, and thus passed on the rip off to some poor unsuspecting person? Sounds like you are just as bad as the dealership.

Next time you buy a demo car or any car that has milage on it, have the dealer sign an avidavit that the car was never in an accident and there was no prior damage to their knowledge such as accidents or whatever, that way you have your @ss covered if you find problems with the car stemming from an accident prior to your puchasing the car, and always ask for or buy your own carfax report on the vehicle to coinside with the avidavit, that way you know for sure what has been reported on the car and you can get the damages fixed for nothing if the dealer says no accident and you find one on carfax.

I owned a 2000 LS bought new from an excellent Saturn dealer who tried hard to fix it. The steering wheel vibration at 65-75 mph is a design problem with this car that has troubled many owners. There are at least 3 technical service bulletins starting at tires, moving to lower control arm bushings, and ending with a steering rack modification. These, unfortunately, don't always solve the vibration. The steering racks also fail after signaling this with a whistle when turning left as yours apparently did. No accident required at all. The steering vibration issue wasn't controlled until 2002, and your car may not have been in more than a minor parking lot scrape as the dealer indicated. The coolant overflow tanks can begin to leak without accident damage. This model year is just a plain loser. The 2000 L series was a pure lemon from the gitgo. We now own two Corollas after trading the LS at 21,000 miles. Lesson learned - never buy a car from GM unless it's been out for a minimum of 3 years. By the way, the Firestone Affinity tires make it even harder to fix the vibration. They are the worst trash to ever befoul the word "tire". Be glad you're rid of this piece of garbage.
