Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I too have fallen victim to a theft ring that has now stretched up into western Michigan. This is how I was scammed...

I was leaving work when two men in a white van that had the "American Sound Systems, Inc." title and logo on the side stopped me and started a spiel about how they had two extra TR-1400 home theater towers that were put onto their delivery list. However unfortunately for them, they had no place for the speakers to go and since they were low on the seniority list at work, they wanted to get rid of the speakers, and make a profit, before the more expirianced employees had a chance to walk away with them.

Being very sceptical at first, I shared with them my concern of the deal being "to good to be true." However they assured me that everything checked out and if I had any questions or concerns to just call the company. Anyways, to make a long story a little shorter, I purchased two TR-1400 "Theater Research" audio towers from them. The two men, both caucasian and in their mid to late 20's, sold me the murchandise for 200 dollars although the retail value was 2000 dollars a piece.

When I arrived at home I decided to do a little research of my own, into this "great deal." And now that I have found numerous stories similar to mine, I kick myself.

I have yet to see how these speakers work, however after researching a little more into "Theater Research," I am not expecting much.

Also I would like to let anyone who may be interested know that the two men that sold me this bogus merchandise were in there mid to late 20's and their names were "Daryl" and "Tom."

**Kind words of warning** "If it seems too good to be true, chances are....it is."
