BEWARE..........Ebay Auto Auction

Scott's Perfomance Auto grossly misrepresented the condition of vehicle I purchased in good faith and vehicle was totally misrepresented. I provided documented list of misrepresentations and dealer would not discuss issues, just kept circumventing facts I presented.

These were not small items, they were major drivetrain complaints about engine and transmission, never mind a long list of other items conveniently left out of decription. For those interested in hard facts, please request exact listing documentation to compare to my professional appraisal of vehicles engine and transmission from two independent mechanics.

Engine was represented as totally rebuilt with only 4300 miles, when in fact, engine had fouled plugs in three cylinders and smoked. I offered to send proof, no response. I had engine analyzed and cylinder walls were scored from overheating, or old age, this was not something that could have been a suprise to dealer as they never checked car as four spark plugs were loose, with oil residue from blowby. Car would not even idle below 1200 RPM, and dealer said this was due to hot cam set up.

Total BS and no effort to come to terms on these issues. Several cam lobs are also worn beyond reasonable level given supposed 4300 miles. Gross oil leaks were not mentioned which are coming from main seal and valve covers.

Transmission would not go into first gear 90% of the time, this too would be impossible to overlook by any dealer who had taken this car into his inventory. Also, reverse grinds everytime you use it, so this too would be impossible to overlook. Linkage was worn as well making shifts very difficult to find second if you were able to get first gear to engage. Transmission seals are also seeping oil.

Misc. items were head light motor burned out, and they admitted they noticed this after the fact, rear lights not working, but I had this fixed with new wiring. No heater working, even when engine is overheating, which it does anytime it is driven with temperature above 80 degrees.

Body damage not disclosed was poorly patched over rear bumper, driver side. Front pass side bumper side was cracked, also not disclosed. Numerous cracks in paint were also not mentioned. In short, this was the must misreprented vehicle I have ever purchased on eBay and I have purchased dozens over the years.

I am preparing to sue Scott's Performance Auto and have contacted FTC and New Hampshire Attorney General's consumer fraud division to lodge complaints. BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER WHO SELLS VIA EBAY.COM.

Engine broke and when disassembled, cylinder were scored and bearing were shot as if car had severe overheating condition, which is what I saw immediately, so this had to be known, and with cracked block with rod broken, this was no oversight, Scott's Performance is an outright fraud.
