Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Here is a list of what you CANNOT get with Sea Breeze Management.

1. Professionalism. Rather, it's the appearance of, or the lack of proper knowledge, that the employees do not just work for the board. They are supposed to attend to the entire association.  They do not.

2. Proper Emergency Contact Numbers. The phone numbers are posted incorrectly.

3. Diligence.  For example: getting a plumber when you're having a leak. In my case, I was simply 'passed off' to Sue in order for Sea Breeze to contact the house plumber.  Completely and totally ineffective.  Not to mention: useless.

4. Honesty.  Sea Breeze hides all legal issues they're involved in re: lack of service.

5. Peace.  I get daily letters from Sea Breeze harrassing me for little or no reason.

6.. A Proper HOA Bill.  It's rarely on time and the reports lack accuracy..

7. Style Continuity.  The building is a hodgepodge of colors. The elevator is this putrid green that clashes badly with the grey marble flooring.  Black -- YES -- black paint on the outside of the building with patchy grey and faded brown. And the hallways are brown and contrasted with some other kind of dismal grey. Doors are neglected and chipping away...And don't even get me started on the pool!

In any event, after a call to Sea Breeze about a botched paint job (illustrated by splatters and areas that were completely ommitted) the issues were never addressed!  All I got was a letter and a fine for a cardboard box that the house plumber left that had nothing to do with that.

And in yet another instance (there were severaI) I was put out of my home for a year because Sea Breeze failed to fulfill their responsibilities, by repairing the plumbing infrastructure in between my unit and the one above; nor did they efficiently rectify corresponding areas that had been severely damaged by airborne mold.  In fact, I'm surprised there haven't been more related tenant illnesses or even deaths, for that matter.  Because, if you ask me, It's a hazard zone.

8. Consistent Personnel.  The turnover is like nothing I have ever seen. Call and ask for someone you spoke with one day, and the next, they might not be there AT ALL.  RED FLAG.  So, the comments of the employees being so helpful DO NOT MATTER when they could be leaving very soon, I promise you.

9. The Feeling Of Being Ripped Off.  I assure you, the dues go up and your quality of life goes down.

10. A Pleasant Experience.  ANYTIME you deal with this company, they treat you as if YOU are the problem.  And I've simply come to the conclusion that it's because the real professonial workers of this industry work ELSEWHERE. Leaving Sea Breeze to have to quickly train first time employees. And they're miserable; blaming you when basic needs are requested, that they're just too green to comprehend. Resorting to backlash and personal attacks, instead of getting anything accomplished.

11. Cleanliness.  Enough said, the place is fithy. And this even includes the lobby where the Sea Breeze employees sit. From crooked photos to cheap taped up signs to dried up dog feces in the stairwell.  It resembles a broken down Junior High in every way.  And this is the first experience someone would have when entering the building, and it is gross. Low rate, all the way. Get some class!

12.  Poor Landscaping.  My building has areas for mulch that now only contain dirt and various forms of debris -- including garbage.  We've also got bamboo wires hanging down from broken lights. Begging the immediate question, "Where are you putting our money?"  You raise our dues, and still the property looks horrible. And in regards to the repairs your "oversaw" on the roof, the pool still leaks after a $2000 assessment, and yet, the dues were still increased.  Not to mention shoddy furniture in the lobby, a callbox that doesn't work, broken exercise equipment, etc.  I mean, really, where is our money going?  Because it's certainly not being spent on those things.  FYI: this is how a building becomes a slum.  And by the looks of things, Sea Breeze is doing a very good job posing as a slum lord.

13. Morals.  Be glad if you're a security vendor that you do not work at my building, because you'd no longer have a job.  After, of course, you were blatantly used to help cheat on a board election.  Then, you'd be subjected to a nasty rumor that you and a tenant were having an "affair" and you'd be terminated, and even worse: end up living in a seedy gym similar to ours.  Or, like another professional who told everyone in the industry how he crossed his T's and dotted his I's to keep his job as our Property Manager, only to get canned nonetheless, after a board member decided he didn't like him and told the owner of Sea Breeze to fire him, or they'd lose the account.  And that only scratches the surface of this cheap and tawdry little tale.  And trust me, these are all facts!

Bottom Line:

Take a pass!  Nothing is overstated or made up as a joke. I understand why someone said they sold because they couldn't get outta here fast enough.  Our building board and management team should be ashamed to cause such distress and ruin to peoples' lives with their disgusting behavior.   Instead of giving hard working homeowners what they deserve, and what they've paid for. They should quit covering it up and being thieves, and get some dignity.  It's a madhouse!  To be avoided at all costs.
