Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Seaboard Express pays rookie wages for multiple stop type work. Lots of Florida stops where the customers have no earthly business having a tractor trailer delivering. You can get it to deliver your load but you better have strong backing skills. REALLY STRONG. In fact, part of the road test is a backing test that is absolutely ridiculous.

One day I went to a store in Florida to deliver my load and I made the fatal mistake of going to another company directly behind the store I was delivering to. I didn’t see a dock so I went around the back thinking there was a dock there. There was one but it wasn’t my customers. So I turned around to go back to the front of the building and as I did that I ruined part of the asphalt with my tires as they pivoted while I turned around.

Well of course Seaboard was called and asked to replace the ruined part of the area that was damaged. Since it was me who did the damage, they decided that I should pay for it. Ok. So they took it out my pay. Basically the risk is not worth the reward here. You can very easily tear something up going into these places and there’s always a chance that you’ll hit something or damage something and lose your pay because of it.

The pay is .39 cpm Trucks are Penske trucks and the freight is plumbing supplies. If you’re planning on working here be very careful that you don’t damage anything. I’ve got 25 years of OTR experience and a spotless record with over 2 million accident free miles and all I did was make a U turn in the wrong parking lot. Good luck with this company. I’ve also posted to TruckersReport.com as well.
