Seacoast Funding Aka Genysis Financial deceptive promises, poor communication, hit and run ripoff San Diego California
Seacoast Funding was going to get a 1st mortgage for me and a home equity line of credit. I was doing this to consolidate debt. At the last minute there were fees on the 1st mortgage. I told the Seacoast rep. that I did not have that money. They told me to send them a personal check which they would hold until the home equity line of credit came through. I told them the check would not be honored until the home equity line came through.
After the 1st mortgage closed and I attempted to work on the home equity line, the folks from Seacoast stopped returning calls and emails. No home equity line of credit. The check I sent bounced as I had told them it would. Seacoast then attempted to have me prosecuted for writing them a bad check. I think Seacoast operated improperly.
