I first contacted this company at the end of July 2014 about a boat cover for my pontoon.  I needed one that would allow me to travel at highway speeds with it in case we ran into any weather and so we could travel with things loaded on the boat with no worry about loosing anything.

 

When you get onto the site, a little pop-up window comes up for chat.  So i decided to go ahead and use it to make sure i dont order the wrong one.  Once i told him what i was looking for and what i had for boat measuements, he brought up on my screen the one he recommended.  I went with his recommendation and ordered it.

 

Less than a week later i had my cover.  So i took off my storage cover, and started to install the new one.  I noticed right away that something was wrong.  We tried to see if we were just seeing things or if it really was the incorrect one.  Once we got to a certain point, we realized they had sent us a cover for a V-hull boat, not a pontoon.

 

I called the company, they said i must have ordered the wrong one, even thought i told them i had spoke to someone and my receipt said that it was for a pontoon.  So instead of fessing up and saying we shipped you the wrong one, they said they would send me a new one.  I told them i was leaving to go up north Wisconsin in just a couple of weeks.  So i told them i would need it sent out right away.  They said as soon as we get the notice that i had sent the incorrect one back, they would ship then correct one.

 

Two days later i called to see if they had shipped out my correct one, and they had said they would send it out as soon as they recieved the one i had to send back.  When i informed him that i had been told they would send the new one out as soon as they got word i had sent the old one back, he said that was not company policy, and didnt know why someone would say that.

 

So i just waited until my new one arrived, which it finally did a week later.  So it showed up on monday aug 11, i was leaving on aug 16th.  So right away i tried to put the new on.  Once again...WRONG.  So once again, called the company and told them i needed the correct on by friday as i was leaving saturday.

 

they told me should be no problem, i gave them dimensions of the boat, what the boat was, and they told me it would either go out right away monday the 11th or tuesday the 12.  So i called on tuesday afternoon when i hadnt heard anything.  The person i talked to said it would be sent out today(tuesday the 12), and should have no problem getting it by friday.

 

On wednesday afternoon, i hadnt heard anything, so i decided to call and see what was going on.  the person i talked to said it had shipped yesturday, tuesday, and that it should be no problem getting it by friday.  so i asked for the tracking number so i could track it.  he would not give it to me over the phone, which i thought strang, and said he would email it to me.  After an hour of waiting, no email.  I called back, asked where my email was, and he said ill send it out right now.  The one minute later, the email showed up. No tracking number, just the original invoice email i got when i ordered the original one.

 

So once again i called back.  This time i talked to someone who called themselves a manager.  He informed me that it had not been shipped out.  in fact, he informed me that they could not even get me one.  So i had talked to i dont know how many people about the order, all saying, should have it no problem by friday, and now im being told that they can not get me one at all.

 

At this point, its wednesday, im leaving friday.  Without paying a ton of money for overnight shipping, there is no way i can get a cover here, by friday, to have on my boat for my travels on saturday.

 

Not only was i lied to several times over the coarse of this, but they say that they will just refund my money.  Which i replied with you're darn right you will refund my money.  But now i have no cover, if it rains, i could end up with boat repairs.  All because someone wouldnt tell me the truth about my oreder and the others just didnt know what theyr were doing.

 

As a second not, the one that they put up on my screen costed $345.00.  When i went throught the process trying to find the correct one, i was finding the exact cover for ont $285.00.  I could NOT find the one they sold me for $345.00.  This i found rather interesting!

I ordered a cover with a poling platform. I received a cover with a motor cover. I caleed them and they said they don't make them with platform covers. I pointed out that I was given a link that Steated "platform cover, I ordered from that link. My invioice also stated the same. I contacted them about it and they said that I was told that they did not. I asked them to review other conversations and to look at the invoice. They said they would exchange the cover and charge an 18% restock fee. I argued that it was there fault and that they should refund my money and send a return label. They said "no". At that point I said that I would contact my credit card company and stop/refuse payment, to which she replied "then I guess we are done here" or something to that nature.I will not buy or recommened these covers to anyone in the future.
