I purchased a dinette set in September 2003 and had it delivered within 1 week. From the initial day of delivery I had problems. The drivers did not want to put the chairs together and did so in frustration needless to say the screws have come out and several chairs broke. The table had 3 scratches extending from one side of the table to the other and the chairs are scratched up like we have had the tables for years. I placed complaints from delivery date and have yet to have any satisfaction. They have cancelled several exchange dates stating the items are out of stock until January 2005. I have finally requested a full pickup for a refund and need I say that of course they did not show up. They instead called to confirm my exchange of the set (magically they had a set in stock because I now wanted a refund).

I called once again and was told that my pickup date had been cancelled \"By Me\" (which we all no I did not do) and after further research we concluded that the showroom rep cancelled and requested an exchange only. I am more then frustrated at this point, I am livid!!! They rob your money, make you spend endless amounts of time on the phone, make you take off of work for non existent deliveries and worst of all, make you deal with representatives that are not helpful nor understanding to your complaints. All I can say is \"STAY AWAY FROM SEAMANS\". Spend your hard earned money in a company that cares about its customers and makes customer service not only a priority, but a necessity.
