On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina dumped 1 ft. of water into my home causing us to have to replace all appliances. Over the years, we have always purchased from Sears. In January '06, I purchased a refrigerator, microwave, range and dishwasher from Sears.

The refrigerator I purchased is a Kenmore Trio Elite with the water dispensor in the door. The water dispensor has always had a constant drip. I am concerned it will harm my new floor.

At least 4 times, repairmen have been to my house about this problem. They keep trying to fix the problem by replacing a water valve, and it's not working. In doing so, they have scratched my floor.

On of the servicemen even suggested that this refrigerator is a lemon, but his supervisor keeps insisting it can be repaired. This last time, they ordered 2 different parts. One came in but the other is not available. They have discontinued this model of refrigerator.

So, I called Sears and insisted on getting a replacement. Although this puts a hardship on me, I feel this is now the best solution. Well, I get a phone call from "One Source" telling me that they'll exchange it and give me a credit but that they cannot issue a refund because it has been over 90 days. It's not my fault it's been over 90 days! I have been calling since shortly after receiving the refrigerator about this problem and they've been working on it inside the warranty period.

In addition, it is very inconvenient to schedule appointments for repair. I work and all they can tell me is that someone will be at my home between 8:00 and 5:00. This is poor service!

I feel I do deserve a refund. I cannot find another refridgerator on their website that I want and that is the amount of my credit or less.

I finally decided to contact the store directly where I purchased the refrigerator. The lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful and willing to work with me. I am getting a new refrigerator and it will cost me a little more, but I am satisfied. I told her about the terrible customer service I was receiving from Source One and she sympathized with me.
