RE: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

Dear Mr. Lampert,

My husband and I bought a Bosch dishwasher in Nov 2014 during the Sears 30% off appliance sale.  The Panel was defective. The Northlake Store Manager (Kevin) agreed to switch out the defective unit.

We then ordered a KitchenAid KDTE704DSS1 – under the 30% sale price and the dishwasher was supposed to be delivered in Feb.  I called Sears customer service several times to check the status since it had been six weeks and we still did not have a decent working unit.  Customer service issued a 10% credit for the delay in delivery.

Our actual delivery did not happen until March 9th, 2015, but the delivery driver dented the new dishwasher door.  When I pointed it out, I was told by the delivery company that I had to call Sears for a replacement.  I then called the Northlake Store Mgr (Kevin) again who (supposedly) reordered the same KitchenAid unit for replacement.  Kevin told me I may have to wait a bit – since the same unit was on backorder again.

At the end of April I called to check the status - only to find Northlake store had been closed.  I then went to Huntersville NC store – which was also closed.

I called Sears Customer Service and was giving case #3351915.  I was told by Myra to reselect an item.  I decided to look at the Sears website and find the closest KitchenAid unit to the original KDTE704DSS1 I purchased.  I called today and spoke with an agent and then spoke with Supervisor Christina (ID #400599).  Christina was the rudest customer service person I believe I have ever spoken with.  She told me that they would not honor the 30% appliance sale discount applied to both of my previous defective units.  She told me I would have to pay the full list price.

When I inquired about returning the whole item for a full credit so I can buy the KitchenAid unit I want from another store, Christina told me I am stuck with what I have and that I cannot return it now because of time that has passed.

I am perplexed because the delivery delays and defective items are due to no fault of our own.

I must tell you this is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!!!  Sears cannot seem to get a non-defective unit to my home, they cannot replace my KitchenAid unit with what I originally purchased, and they will not honor my 30% discount on the unit I request for replacement.  Nor will they issue a full credit for me to buy the dishwasher I want from another store.  So my $1259.99 dishwasher will now be $1799.99 from Sears.  What a racket!!!!

I would like to please have a representative from office the CEO of Sears contact me please.

Today I recieved a note back from Sears.com customer service stating the same thing that my 30% appliance sale discount will no apply to my warranty replacement item.  I will have to pay $500 to cover their warranty issue.

WHAT CROOKS!!!!  NO WONDER SEARS IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS.  THEY JUST QUIETLY SHUT TWO STORES IN CHARLOTTE NC.
