I purched a car from Bill McDonald Ford in St Clair MI around 1999 and the car was ok. The problem was Seawest. The lists of problems with this company are unbelievable and law, legal system and lawyers won't do a thing. First of all I paid off the car plus the extortion money they made me pay and because no one not the police, attorney Generals office or lawyers would help. From day one I like all these other reports had problems with Sea west. Per my billing I sent my payment to Sea West Financial Corp/ Wells Fargo Bank P.O. Box 643236, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3236. They would call me and start asking for there money, when I had already made the payment. They had me run to the bank and fax them a copy of the banks statement show they had already taken the money from my account, no these payments were not late they were early. This happened through out the year. I paid more than one payment a month because of our great economy I new I would loss my Job like everyone else and did. Sea west calls me and wants to know where's there money, I was 3 month ahead. Well they got it straight and left me alone for a month any way and around we would go again. Well I paid the car loan off around March 5 or 6 months early. NOT, I was told to keep paying or they would talk my car and that I had to pay till September that is what I agreed to. Yes even if the car was paid off what you say that's right. Not only that I was charged late charges for not paying the extortion money on time. I have all the payment statements they sent me bank records, canceled checks and even got some girl at sea west to send me a copy showing there records. Can't get a lawyer to touch it. Police say it's not my job, and no replies form our state or Federal attorney General. Boy it's great to be an American and even better to be an Honorably Discharged combat decorated Vietnam Vet. All I'm told is I better not do anything. Well the car is paid for and has been for awhile. And there records and mine prove there only stole from me about $3,000.00 and funny isn't it that what the layers told me it would cost me to get it back, so just forget it. Rip-off report can you help?
