I complained to SPS early June 2018 concerning an insurance check that was not returned in a timely manner. That situation was remedied, however, I received a phone call from SPS stating that the call was an attempt to collect on a debt.
I stated I have never been late on my mortgage payment. They then asked me for updated information. I sent a complaint to SPS stating their communication by phone was inappropriate and I am current on my payments. I received a letter stating they would assist me with my account but I have a payment due August 1.
Rather than apologize for their miscommunication, they continue to send me notice that they are attempting to collect on a debt...a debt that is current.
Clearly, I am being harassed by Select Portfolio Servicing.
