Involved but may not be their real names

Philip Tesoriero

Darryl Corbett

John Oancea

After being introduced to this lender through a broker, we started carrying out our due dilligence on Sequioa capital advisors. name is very close to Sequiioa capital who are very successfull probably in the hope they get mixed up.

There were many things that rang alarm bells when researching the company and each individual, and current/previous companies that they are/were involved with.

They gave us a letter of intent and then continued to hound us for a commitment fee, whilst this is typical with this kind of funding the way they went about it, including multiple emails on Christmas day were very strange.

After bringing up our concerns in a conference call with all of the above. They had answers for all of the awkward questions we put their way. We now know this is obviously well versed. One of our concerns was that the office address they give is a vurtual office, for such an apparant big company this is not normal, but they assured us they had their own office on the same floor

We decided to call their bluff and fly to new york, we did tell them we were coming and arranged a time.

John confirmed that Darryl was on his way the day before and would meet us there

We then recieve a call 5 minutes before the meeting that they are cancelling due to someones wife being rushed in to hospital and we would have to rearrange for another time.

We dicided to go to the Rockefella Plaza where they claim to be and security confirmed they are not in the building and called up to the virtual office where they confirmed they had not used their services for a long time.

We then got hold of John who said they had just moved offices which was very strange as only the day before he confirmed the address via email.

They may come back with a different address, and i warn you they can be very convincing. Do not part with any money even if they put pressure on you that the offer will expire, because it wont and they are only out to get you money which is apparently for the MAI appraisel.

There is no surprise that we have not heard from any of them since

John Oancea and Darryl Corbett now go by the company name of Nexus Global. John also goes by Trinity Business Services. Darryl is based out of Texas and John out of Canada. Phillip is in New York and may go by Bridgewater Capital. I had dealings with John and Darryl in March 2014 and became highly suspicious and urged my client to not proceed in dealing with them.
