Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am a former employee of Mr. Serafano. I have watched him systemically remove naive and down on their luck people from what is in many cases their life savings. The behavior I have seen from Mr. Serafano and his staff was appalling. I am writing this in the hope that I will prevent more people from being ripped off, and to offer assistance to those who have already become a victim.

The scam goes something like this:

You may have received a pop up message offering you an incredible work from home opportunity with wildly exaggerated promises of thousands of dollars within the first month. You either submit your name and phone number (standard Adpro rip-off) or you submit complete name and address and credit card information (phony business package/cash cow rip-off) and are told you will be contacted shortly.

A representative tells you the fantastic opportunity that he or she has to offer you, after collecting some minor financial information (such as number of and types of credit cards and bank accounts you own and respective balances.) they will tell you that you can be part of their staff generating leads using a program called AdPro Extreme and all they ask is a small upfront investment.

If you haven't hung up at this point, they will connect you to their marketing director. Mr. Serafano and 2 of his other best rip-off specialists make up the marketing directors. This is the first and most likely last time you will get to speak with Joe Serafano before he takes your money. He will claim the software costs them $3500 per copy to acquire, but because YOU are so special, he will put up X amount and all they ask is you cover the rest (the rest being how ever much they think they can get you for).

If you say you shouldn't have to pay for an unproven business opportunity or that the amount is too much Mr. Serafano will either knock the price down to between $500-$200 if he still feels he can get some money from you. Of course you should hang up on him or ask him for written testimonials and copies of the supposedly huge paychecks he is sending out (which he will refuse to provide) and make sure you cite the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Consumer Protection Act.

If you have already fallen victim, but have not signed the license agreement yet, the solution for getting your money back is below.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN RIPPED OFF BUT HAVE NOT SENT IN YOUR LICENSE AGREEMENT:

You will receive a welcome package with a burned copy of the software and a multi page license agreement. You can still get all of your money back legally at this point. DO NOT sign the agreement, DO NOT fax it back in. Call SE Consulting toll free at 1-866-215-5037 and say you know this is a scam, you REFUSE to sign the agreement, and you demand your full refund.

Mr. Serafano is legally obligated to refund your money. If he says he is not, tell him you are initiating a chargeback with your credit card company and immediately reporting him to the Federal Trade Commission for violations of the Consumer Protection Act, and will also be in contact with the Florida Attorney General scam hotline. After getting off the phone with Mr. Serafano and he has not offered a FULL REFUND, call the Florida Consumer protection center at 1-866-9-NO-SCAM and report him.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SIGNED THE AGREEMENT

Call 1-866-9-NO-SCAM and report Joe Serafano. Initate a chargeback with the credit card company citing fraudulent activity.

Please avoid this scam at all costs, I hope this will help some people.

Nothing Bad About Serafano Enterprises is True!!!

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, September 14, 2004

My name is Joe Serafano I am the CEO of Serafano Enterprises. After one of my happy customers saw this website, and saw what was being said about the sale of a product that many people have been very happy using contacted me right away. I was compleatly shocked at what a former employee of my company had to say. It just so happens that the employee who had all of these bad things to say had been terminated from the company due to the over abuse to drugs which led to missing work and not doing their job properly. First of all here at Serafano Enterprises we sell a number of different products and services including. Web Design, Web Hosting, Business sales leads, and computer software. From my understing of the letter written here against my companys product. It sounds like they are talking about the AdPro Extreme Software. This is a software program that is designed to market any paticular business or service on the internet. The makers of the sofware program are from France and New Hampshire. They sold the software resale license to my company for $100,000. The software program does work and does indeed do everything that our sales dept says it does. There has been many happy customers of Adpro infact several poeple save so much time and money using it to market there business, or service they often refer other people to our company so that they may also purchase the same software program to market there business on the internet. The AdPro software can be used to market so many products, business, or services that the program can and will in most cases pay for itself. I really have no idea where anyone could possibly think that the AdPro is a scam, or that I am a scam. I would never scam anyone out of anything. A scam in my eyes would be something that didnt work, or if someone purchased a product and the product was never shipped. Every customer who purchases the AdPro is told before purchaseing the software that they must have an IBM computer and must be using at least Windows 98, XP, or 2000 Pro. Any other computer or system will not support the Adpro software and therefore will not work AT ALL. I have had a few customers that had problems due to this paticular situation. I did resolve everyone of their complaints by offering the customers a full 100% refund of the purchase price. I think in most cases with the Adpro software, or any other marketing software that sometimes people get frusterated if they do not achieve there expected results. We cannot accurately predict the volume of responses a customer will be able to achieve and we do not make any such promise or guarantee. It is very simple in advertising if something isn't getting you a good response just change what you are advertising, the website, ads going out, the format, wording, or any little change could make or break your entire advertising campaign. Advertising is a numbers game if something isn't working (Tweek It) change it. It's as simple as that. It doesn't mean that you have been scammed it just mean something isn't catching your customers eye and that you need to change whatever your ads are saying. For the record here at Serafano Enterprises we value our customer service. All of our customers are very important to our company all of our products and services come with compleate 12 hour a day customer service here to assit anyone's questions or comments. If anyone at all seems to have a problem with any of our products or services and would like to have a refund, in most cases if you refurn the product to us, and it is not damaged we do not have a problem giving our customers a refund of their purchase price. If you are a customer who has had us build you, or your company a website on the internet and would like to make any changes to your company's website we will make any changes you would like to your website free of charge. I do appoligize for any un-true mis-leading comments that have been made by a teriminated ex employee who is probably upset more with themselves for what they did to get fired rather than our company as a whole. I hope that this explantation will help for anyone to better understand the situation and to give my company Serafano Enterprises the fair chance that we deserve. Give us 1% of your trust and we will earn the other 99% Thank you and please if you have any questions or concerns about a Website that we have built for you, or a product you have purchased please give me a call personally toll free at 1-866-215-5037 I will be happy to hear from you. Thank you for allowing me to explain my company's side of the story. Sincerely, Serafano Enterprises
