Yes, unfortunately we did have a problem with the despatching of the parcels to Mr Whitt. We actually sent out the first parcel without insurance and we still don't know what happened to it, however Mr Whitt has been refunded in FULL . (via PayPal-transaction number available upon request.) Our new Policy ensures that All goods are now depatched WITH insurance. This means that the goods are not left on the 'doorstep' if the customer is not at home at the time of delivery. The party is now advised by way of a 'card' that there is a parcel waiting to be delivered/collected for them at the post office/depot. The customer is 'carded' or advised 3 times, over a certain period of time, ( I am not sure how many days/weeks) But if the parcel is not collected after that time, it is shipped back to our office in South Perth. Western Australia. Since this incident we have taken new measures to post only to verified PayPal members whose addresses are also verified. Plus, since we had been despatching these parcels "FREE POSTAGE TO THE CUSTOMER" that is at no cost to the consumer we have reluctantly had to charge for insurance. By insuring the parcels we get a 'special tracking number' which is acceptable to the US Postal Department. In this way we are BOTH covered- the customer and ourselves. It's disappointing to see that Mr Whitt hasn't bothered to update this entry, with advise that he was refunded in FULL I have only been made aware of this site today (28 July 2004) other wise I would have replied earlier. sincerely Caren Engelbrecht CEO SERENDIPITY LABORATORIES
