Servcorp Servcorp keeps taking even after you leave Houston Texas
We rented a suite in the Servcorp Bank of America center for one year. While the rate was high, it was accepted and the office was accepted "as is" despite the contract stating that "up to two months rent can be charged for refurbishment" and the manager assuring me this was never charged. The replacement manager verbally advised the full deposite would be refunded. Despite this, they are charging excessive cleaning charges which were to be zero and have yet to refurnd the deposit, although they do advise it can be applied to the moveout charges. Note thatt they want $5,000 to refurbish the suite which is in the identical condition I moved onto - this is in a build that provides approximately $250 for that space for refurbishment with a five year lease! They are looking to profit in any way possible. There were issues thgroughout their lease term with constanlty changing payments and charges for everything small item possible - some of which were not even disclosed in advance.
There are other places from which space can be rented and they decided to seek immediate cash by not returning deposits then fabricating excessive charges for refurbishment of a space that is approximately 100 square feet! Avoid this organization at all costs unless you simply like to keep throwing money at them. Their word is worthless and their contracts are all in a nearly unreadable 4 point font.
