SEVERN TRENT SERVICES(STS) manages my Municpal Utility Distric(MUD) #150 along with many other MUD providers. STS manages water and sewer services. Jennifer Cole is a supervisor in customer service for STS here in Houston. Cole is a malishious liar, money grubber, and a horrible excuse for a STS representive

I am just starting to find out more about this company's arrogant, unethical, and facious business policy . So far I found out that Rennie Quinn is a Houston area director. CEO is Vic Cocker. COB is David Arculus. I wonder if David knows Jennifer??

I will try to introduce them.

I have been at the same address for 18 years and never had a problem with water services until Jennifer came along. Cole personally had my water line turned off and then disconnected due to her own incompetence and personal vendetta. All over less than $29 on said disputed late fees. I never MISSED a monthly payment for 2003. Was late a lot but that's because of the STS billing system . I have asked STS since 1999 when will online banking become available and NEVER been told the truth. Hey! Is that YOUR COW walking away STS??? God, I Wish. How much you get Jeniffer Cole???

Cole arranged to have my accumalated late fees ($28.41 total for 2003)jump up to over $233 from less than $29 due to her negligence. I pay(w/out late fees) roughly $21.50 monthly to STS. I also pay a yearly tax at the rate of .820 cents per $100 of evaluation. It averages over $75 a month just for water and sewer. Then add all the standard STS BS extra fees!!!

This has happened entirely due to continued billing errors by STS operators and continually added late fees amounting to 20% or more of my monthly bill. I have not seen a correct bill since Jan 2003. These appalling "late fees" are what STS utilizes to make their CASH COW grow. STS will gouge the customer $4.30 if they don't physically have your check in thier hand by the due date. If post office is slow, boom $4.30. If Jennifer goes on vaction and your check has been sitting on her desk,another$4.30 They only accept CASH,CHECK or Money Order. Do you here Mooooooooo!! STS does NOT ALLOW you to pay online or pay thru a bank account. STS also claims to set up and manage new online banking systems FOR OTHER CLIENTS BUT NOT IN THIER OWN HOUSE (See STS web sites)! I WONDER what STS is so afraid of that prevents them from offering a customer to CHOICE to pay online or bank account??? Maybe a TYCO type of management where there could be,say, more than one set of books. Could it be, say, the loss of a LARGE BOVINE CASH ENEMA DRIP? All my late fees in the past were always removed upon my request (though bills still never add up correctly).

The beauty of this scam is that STS bills for a monopoly. Knowing that the can abuse and threaten without recourse. The fees they charge are unreasonable and unfair. They are arbitrary and inconsistant.

If anyone who lives in the MUD #150 district knows what I'm talking about, love to here your experience. It would be lovely to see a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT come out of this. I would LAO if lawyers took away the STS COW. And all over $28.41. All because of YOU Medusa.

I am in Forney TX and am forced to use these crooks. They are the only company who has no grace period whatsoever. I used to sit and pay all my bills at one time- I made the mistake of making a payment one day late while I was paying all my bills. Yup, one day and already had late fees.

I fought with them a week about it and they finally credited it back.... yeah but only partially. So now I have to drop everything I am doing to pay this one freaking bill every month. I don't know how they run things in the UK but their website sucks as well. When you go to their homepage there is a login option... but that is for employees... so you have to dig around for a while to find the login to pay them.

Also, they have a way to pay by mobile but gave up on that since it never worked. It would fail every time. The rep I spoke with said they had many complaints about their mobile bill pay and their website.

My bill is 70+ dollars every month regardless of how much I use. It is just me and my 12 yr old kid living here... which is ridiculous. My parents live in Forney as well with a different water company and their bill is half what mine is.

This UK company is a UTTER AND COMPLETE RIPOFF!!! We need to replace these UK retards.

Call me crazy, but it seems like if you don't pay your bill on time then anyone should expect that a late fee would be the end result. Accumulate several late fees and a company has the full right to disconnect service. Making personal comments about service representatives who do their job is appalling. Did you ever stop to think that perhaps she was doing her job, going by the rules that her employer has set out for her? It seems like these days anyone can point the finger at someone else and say, "It's their fault!" No one wants to admit that they might have made a mistake. That is unacceptable in the world we live in. Perhaps in the future, you should try to pay your bill on time and you won't be without water. Just a thought...
