I shopped online at Shampooline.com. They advertised a bargain price for a 33.8 oz. bottle of Bumble and bumble hair conditioner. Instead, they sent me two 8 oz. sizes. When I called, they said Bumble and bumble no longer makes the 33.8 oz. size and wanted me to pay additional to order more product. They still owed me for what I already paid for! They had only sent me half and they basically said for me to pay more or too bad! And, they continued to advertise the same item that they say is not available. It is the classic "bait and switch" technique to get people to buy one thing and then they substitute a lesser item in its place. They expect people to just accept being ripped off and they offer no apologies at all and no cooperation. They are, in fact, rude over the telephone.

These ripoff artists go by the name of "Shampooline.com" on the internet and their return address gives the company name as "Shop Thru Web." Do not order from them. They will send you whatever they want. The products not only were the wrong items, but they were poorly packaged and damaged.

Do not buy from Shampooline.com. They practice bait and switch and refuse to make fair adjustments for sending items that were not ordered.

SHAMPOOLINE IS PROVED TO BE BAIT AND SWITCH.

Again, the customer service representative misrepresents herself. When I spoke with her on the phone, she kept talking to someone else in the background as we spoke. She asked him if they should refund for sending the wrong product and I could hear the guy in the background flat out saying "No." There was no offer to resolve the situation fairly at all! They continue to advertize a 33.8 oz. size Bumble and bumble conditioner, which they DO NOT HAVE, which they admitted to on the telephone. It is the classic BAIT and SWITCH. (Notice they do not say in their rebuttal that they DO actually carry this size. They know they don't and they continue to advertise it.) They offered to send a return label, but DID NOT send it. My credit card company gave me a complete refund (no doubt after the investigation proved I was right.) I also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Shampooline actually expects people to just roll over and accept two bottles of 8 oz. product (total of 16 oz.) when the customer has already paid for 33.8 oz. That is so unethical and dishonest, it stinks! Shame on you people! Just because you think you sound good on the telephone does not give you the right to blatantly rip people off. I am certain your bad karma is going to come back to you. You are sure to be out of business soon. You reap what you sew. Remember the name, SHAMPOOLINE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS  WITH THEM.

We offered this customer to send back the merchandise for a full refund.  We would also pay for the shipping.  100 customers a week have no problem with refunds or returns.  He kept insisting he wanted money refunded and keep the product on top of it.  I am the customer service rep who spoke with him, and I was not nasty.  If you go to any of our website reviews, everyone says I am respectful and polite.  I handle everyones situation in a timely fashion.  We have been doing business for many years, and as you can see this is the first bad review on this site.
