The Penzoil rebate program provided for a rebate of $10.00 for a 5 litre jug of synthetic oil or $2.00 per litre for synthetic oil. They rebated me for only half of my total purchase. I purchased four 5 litre jugs of Penzoil Platinum Full Synthetic oil and submitted the proper "Penzoil Synthetic 2018 Rebate Request Form" along wtih the proper reciepts indentifying the amount of oil purchased.
The terms also stated that 4 rebates per household permitted which again I complied with. Each form I submitted indicated quite clearly the amount of oil purchased and I should have been entitled to $40.00 in rebates and only received $20.00.
When I called their rebate center, they told me they never received the other form but yet their cheques refer to the two different requests I submitted as each request was for two 5 litre jugs of oil. Simply put, two requests each for 10 litres of oil at $2.00 per litre or $10.00 per jug would entitle me to $20.00 per request. They lied to me and in my opinion cheated me on their rebate program.
