Shellie Cadogan Drinkwalter Fundraiser Fraud London Ontario
August 2012 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Devastating...life changing...awful. I was pregnant at the time and had to endure A LOT of emotions...surgeries and treatments.
In October I was approached by Shellie Drinkwalter as owner of Pinch of this Cupcakes.
Shellie and I were good friends in highschool. We lost touch after grad. So when she asked about doing a fundraiser for me and my family I was very touched and appreciative. People would order cupcakes and she would donate the proceeds to me and my family is what was promised. I have no idea how many of my friends or family ordered....I received $0. I was also promised treats and goodies....NOTHING ever came.
Its disgusting to me that someone would do this at the worst possible time of someones life.
I also employed Shellie and Pinch of this Cupcakes to make cupcakes for my mums 70th birthday party this past September. The day of the party I received a message from Shellie about an accident in the kitchen and how sorry she was...and that part of my order would be missing. She offered to give me back money for the situation and NEVER received the reimbursement.
Very unprofessional and again disgusting behavior.
